While it’s true that I started this blog way back when in 2008, it was over the past twelve months that it really developed into what it is today.
It’s been a year of special meals, big choices, risks taken, great joy and utter difficulty. I feel very lucky to have been able to share it all with you, and even luckier to have met some of you, whether virtually or actually. Would I continue work on this site if no one read it? Probably, but knowing that I have readers has been incredibly encouraging.
I’ll be having oysters and Champagne tonight with friends as is customary in Paris, but the best thing about this city is that no special occasion is required to partake in these treats.
Eating well is the occasion, isn’t it?
